I backed it up to update it to iOS 13. Then I unplugged it and plugged again to my Macbook Pro (High Sierra), it was normally recognized. I tried to update the software, but nothing happened after I pressed “Update”. Therefore, I forced it into recovery mode (Home + ON/OFF button). It worked, then at the beginning of the iOS installation an error suddenly appears in iTunes: ‘The iPhone “iPhone” could not be restored. An unknown error occurred (10).’ The phone can’t be restored to factory settings because it’s in restore mode. I can’t use it for anything else. Tried DFU to force it out restore mode but didn’t work. The wire connecting is fine and all my software is up to date. P.S. its and iPhone 7 btw
This problem error is usually caused by outdated iTunes or software on the device you have it connected to or a faulty charge lead. Try updating or restoring it on a different device with an updated iTunes and IOS or OS. Also use a different charging cable.
