Hello! I am attempting to get a iPhone 7 activated, what I don’t understand is that I was able to activate it once, but it started having issues, didn’t connect to iTunes so I reset it again, turns out it was just a driver issue, so now it connects to iTunes but it keeps coming up with the error “The activation information could not be obtained from the device.” I have also tried to use 3uTools to activate it, it got the same error, “Failed to read information of activation.“ I don’t know if this is part of the issue, but in 3uTools Apple ID Lock and iCloud, come up as N/A, they were not like this when I was able to successfully activate it previously. Whats also bad is that I don’t know what the device is doing, it has no screen at the moment, i thought i would be able to activate it and later get a screen, because I wanted to make sure the board and everything was ok before spending my money on one. I’ve tried the Realtime Screen tool in 3uTools for it to get stuck on “Starting dependent components, please wait.” I have checked for water damage, I didn’t see any. i know i should call apple.. but tbh im antisocial.. Just wanting to see if anyone on here has any ideas first before i do that! Update: I have swapped motherboards with another 7, it seems like the components that I am using are working perfectly fine. I even tried a DFU restore through 3utools, i think the phone is gone by now..
if its a qualcomm board it could be a problem with the bbpmu or the bbcpu, if intel its more that likely bbcpu
