I’m having problems with an iphone 6s, I’ve done the update and restore in DFU mode, and it works right away. However, as soon as I start installing the apps, it starts to heat up the whole device, especially on the sides, freezes the system and shuts down, after this symptom it just doesn’t turn on again until I perform another restore in DFU mode. I already performed the battery replacement because I initially believed that it might not be meeting the need for the device, but that didn’t work. On all DFU mode resets, I didn’t get any error at any time. During the freezing of the apple logo the processor heats up but nothing abnormal, just a standard heating as if the device were in use.

Does the Wi-Fi module get hot? The Wi-Fi IC can get an internal fault resulting in what you are experiencing. This happens quite a bit with the 6s model. If the Wi-Fi is not getting hot it will be another issue.
