Hi all, After screen replacement, ‘Hey Siri’ does not recognize voice input, as well as Skype and Messenger mic not working at all. The mic works poor for Siri when you aren’t setting up Hey Siri and does function for Voice Memos and phone calls. Do those functions use a different mic? What could I have affected during the screen replacement? Thanks in advance!
Hi, It seems you are having issues with the front microphone (located next to the front facing camera) You have either damaged the front microphone (attached to front cam) or adhesive is in the way of the front microphone, disassemble and check front mic. :-)
