Hi I have an iPhone 3gs with original battery number APN 616-0433. I have replaced the battery with APN 616-0435 battery, but when I try to restore it I get “error 29”. Is there any other solution then somehow organising a battery APN 616-0433 or downgrading it to fm 3.1.3.?
I guess it is one of those nasty errors that hits people after they replaced their batteries or changed to iOS.4.0 http://www.ihackintosh.com/2009/07/ireco… says that they have the fixit for that. they also have it for mac and winxp so this should help regardless of what OS you are using.Check it out and let us know if it works for you.
