Did a normal charger port replacement for an customer (iPhone 5S Black) After the replacement its plays sounds, charges, microphone and mini jack all works. But it shows the following message
Translated “Could not activate touch id on this iPhone” The home button ( the button and the touch id) does not work. No visible damage to either charger module or home button flex. Suggestions? Charger port bad? High copy aka no support for latest IOS?
Have had this problem before when replacing the charger port before, was a faulty part. Try the old one (if it is just not charging), and if the home/touch id is working, it will need a new charger port.
