My LG CM9740 Hi-Fi speakers no longer can use bluetooth. Every time I try to use bluetooth, I get an error “BT E2P ERR” on the Hi-Fi’s digital screen. If I turn it off and on again and select Bluetooth, it will say “BT Ready” for a brief time (mere seconds) before switching back to the error on which it stays indefinitely. Any idea what is causing this error? I opened it up and had a look inside, but I don’t know where the bluetooth chip is located, or what it even looks like. There isn’t much information about this product online.
Update on this: I went back to it and managed to find the Bluetooth adapter card. It was a very tiny PCB. I managed to find a replacement card on eBay for just £5. Ordered it and put it in today and Bluetooth now works again. It’s extremely hard to find replacements for this speaker. I got very lucky to have come across the exact same card I needed on eBay for a very cheap price.
