Hello, my Galaxy S6 Edge shows “Battery temperature too low” when trying to charge, doesn’t matter if USB or inductive. It had contact with water so I think this might be the reason. I checked the temperature with an app and it always shows -20°C. Does somebody know what to do? I have already repaired some other phones but mostly just Display replacement or something like that. Do you think changing the battery would help? I also read that there’s a temperature sensor but I can’t find any replacement parts for that one.. Thanks in advance.
Might want to clean it with 90 proof isopropyl alcohol and a q tip
Put your phone in hard processes and after that when your phone is hot test it again ,if it didn’t worked you must replace your battery because water is damaged it :( Arad_SB
This has happened to mine on 2 occasions now. Last time it just started charging again after a couple of weeks this time I tried placing it on top of (not in!!!) my tumble dryer whilst it was switched on so it was warm for about 10 minutes and it seems to have done the trick as it wouldn’t charge at all before and now it’s working fine.
Replace the charging module. Worked for me.
Mobile falls in water ,now while charging percentage is very low and battery is not full charge may you suggest or recover for this
One thing make sure that your Battery temperature is below 2 °C (You Can Check This by Hot Keys on Dial Pad; For Honor it is ##2846579##), And If It is Then You Have To Remove Your Battery (Do Carefully For Non Removable Ones Using Gum To Stick The Battery To The Base) You Will Find a Small Board Having Connections in Between +VE and –VE Terminals If They Are Covered With A Yellow Heat Resistant Tape Make Sure To Uncover Heat Whole Battery under Sunlight or Any Other Heat Source under 50 °C (maybe Use Hair Dryer with Low Setting) Probably For 15 Minutes Put The Tape Back and Fix It Back to Your Phone (if It Have Any Power in it Make Sure to Turn it On) Connect The Charger and Check Whether it Charges (make Sure That the Battery Temperature Is Increased above 20 °C) There You Fixed Your Charging Issue Please Makes Sure You Didn’t Ruined Your Battery Or Phone During Process Thank you
Rice Or Slima Gel Works
This is gonna sound nuts!! However, Mine did this also. And just by accident I squeezed both sides of the phone firmly while it was plugged up to the charger and it worked!! I try not to let the battery die completely otherwise I’ll get the error message again but when I do I just do this again and it works again!!
I just had the same issue. I found out that charging the thing with a low power supply ( USB PC 2.0 port ) helps aswell . The USB- Controller on my device however is pretty much done aswell though…..
