Looking for the power on pads on a 13" macbook pro with touchbar (late 2016), anyone know where they are, or even if there are any ? thanks!
If you are trying to boot the machine without using the power on button do the following: Disconnect the mag-safe adapter, disconnect the battery from the logic board. Press and hold the power button for 5 seconds (this is not needed for the reboot but resets the SMC). Now plug the battery back in then the mag-safe and you should get a spontaneous reboot.
