Chosen Solution
Hey peoples, I was replacing some parts, and put the machine back together to find that it wouldn’t power up. Then I found these parts had come loose (on the part of the motherboard where the transistors and power cable enters in). Does anyone know what they are ? (managed to resolder the brown one but the black one is crushed) So, does anyone know how to fix? Alternate solutions I might not have thought of, or have any clue what the parts are? As it would probably save me a bit instead of replacing the whole section of MB. Thanks for any help!
the brown ones are typically capacitors and the black ones are resistors. the resistors can be tricky and you may need a certain one for that location. if you can find a donor board that would be your best bet on figuring out which one youd need! Louis rossman and northridgefix on YT would be a good place to start looking for pictures of donor boards!
