Anyone got ANY idea where this goes? I need to find its home to repair my drive. No images have helped me yet.
Yes…if you look at the top picture in the post above yours on the right side you will see there is a plastic part that juts out from the side about in the middle. You will see what looks like a plus…this is the bottom side of that gear (the side without the spring on it). Incidentally you don’t actually even need that screw. It’s the manual eject screw and the drive will work just fine without it. It’s good to have in case your disc gets jammed in there but you could do without it if needed. I hope this helps.

Guys if you looked I already thanked him from an older post. But thanks for all your info and II have my PS4 back up and running. Not bad for a total of $70 invested for a PS4 with a broken HDMI port.
