Chosen Solution
Can anybody tell me what’s wrong with the screen? Is the inside of the screen broken or is it another issue? Thank you in advanced!
I’m afraid there’s probably not much that can be doe about that. There’s a bunch of chips along the bottom (or maybe the top) of the LCD panel selecting the pixel column and another bunch along one side selecting the pixel row. It looks like the connections to one or more of the latter are broken. They’re extremely fine so little or no chance of resoldering. Sorry to be the harbinger of bad news!
