hi, I have a Toshiba tecra a4 with motherboard v000080710, forgot the bios password, eventhough I took apart the laptop and connect the two side of cmos battery (it cannot be removed), but just date and time were reset and the password still required. Does anybody can help me to find JUMPER on motherboard? I can send motherboard picture. Plz help me if you can… Thank you
@sam2018 there are no jumpers for that anymore . The password is written to an IC and only if you know which one that is and how to shorten it, will it reset. Consider getting in touch with Toshiba and see if they can help you.
