I know Iphone 5s is really an old phone and should be irrelevant to be a problem in terms of fixing, but I have this Iphone 5s given by someone I know, The screen wasn’t working at all it went all white which I had fixed by reconnecting the flex cables of the LCD but it still had some minor vertical lines which wasn’t really a problem as long as the phone is still working. A month later she told me that the phone is completely dead and I thought LCD replacement was going to fix it, So I did buy one after attempting to fix it with LCD replacement, the screen just wont turn on at all any idea how to fix this? I tried other LCD from another working Iphone5s and it didn’t work too but the LCD is completely fine. Important Notes: -Battery is still okay -Phone is still charging and Itunes recognizes it. -LCD Screen Replacement had no problems at all I conluded that there was something wrong with the logic board, and personally I don’t want to replace it, it’s too expensive for an old phone but still, this phone had a sentimental value that’s why fixing it for a friend is really important for me, I hope someone can help me fix this issue. I’ll reply as soon as possible and give you the information you need. Thank you in advance :) (sorry for my bad english.)

You may have either blown a backlight filter or damaged the LCD chip on the motherboard. I’d suggest replacing the logic board and making sure you disconnect the battery while you’re at it to protect you from this happening next time. Before replacing the logic board, open it up and check if the backlight filter is working correctly. If you have any questions, let me know.
