Hi! I’m struggling with Bluetooth connection issues of my Poco F1 with multiple devices (including speakers, headphones and fitness watches), affecting the use of Bluetooth pretty much 100% of the times I tryied in the last months. Most of the time, audio input and/or output is choppy when using Bluetooth speakers/headphones or even impossible. It can’t connect to my fitness watch for more than a few seconds or not at all. Those devices work fine with other phones. First, I tried a full software reset, but it had no effect. Earlier today, I followed the awesome teardown guide provided here (up to the remove motherboard cover step). I have no idea where is the Bluetooth antenna and even if it is plugged into the motherboard or part of it. Therefore, I checked several connectors attached to the motherboard then reassembled the phone. As soon as I turned it back on, it managed to keep stable Bluetooth connections to a speaker and watch, but only for some minutes. Could someone provide me with guidance for solving this issue? What/where should I be looking for on the F1’s motherboard? Thanks for taking your time to read this.

Hi @jgsiqueira Has the phone been dropped or gotten wet at all? When you say “….a full software reset”, do you mean that you restored the phone with a factory reset, back to its default factory condition and tried it without any user downloaded apps installed on it? What is the WiFi connection like, is it a stable connection or does it suffer from drop outs? Only asking because it shares the same antenna as the BT. Also most likely the same IC chip on the systemboard as the BT as well. If the WiFi also has problems, maybe check the antenna connections in the phone. Here’s a zoomed in image, taken from the ifixit Pocophone F1 Battery Replacement guide, showing the antennas at one end of the phone that may help. I can’t show the other end of the black antenna cable at the other end of the phone as there are no images of it in any of the guides.
