Hello, I have the green light of death on my PS3, but I’ve tried on 2 different systems to follow the step by step video reset. Mine won’t boot into safe mode, it just stays a black screen. The controllers won’t sync either. The other 3 systems with the problem worked just fine with your instructions, but this green light of death is a different issue. Can you help me? I order your stuff all the time, I just need a fix for this issue. THANK YOU!!!
Try this. This usually fixes it. Hold the power button on the PS3 down until it beeps two times and then goes back off. This resets the video settings and fixes this problem in many cases. It works wonders when the video settings screw up. If this doesn’t work try a new cable. If none of this does it, go into safe mode. To do this, hold the power button down the same way you did to reset the video settings. After this, hold it again and wait for it to shut off. After this, hold it down again and let it reset the video. After this, wait for two consecutive beeps and it will be in safe mode. Work with it from here.
