Chosen Solution

I have an Amana side by side refrigerator model ASD2575BRW01. The display panel has lights on the outside front panel that indicate light on, light off, crushed, cube, water, lock on, lock off. All of the lights work except the one for “water”. All selections work; I just don’t have an indicator light for the water. I don’t know how to repair it. I don’t even know how to remove the panel if I can repair it.

George, The refrigerator dispenser control board is normally replaced as an assembly, the bulbs/diode are soldered into the board assy. If all is function well on your fridge except for the one faulty light, the board could be removed and the bulb/diode replaced by a skilled computer repair shop, if they were willing to do or you could just live with light not functioning, or change the board. Check the attached links, instruction and guides on how to may not be your exact model but give general idea of what to do. Good luck. I hope this helped you out, if so let me know by pressing the helpful button. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=42VU2Mbrhttp://www.repairclinic.com/PartDetail/A

I figured out how to remove the panel. Insert small flat tipped screwdriver into slots in bottom corners. Panel will then slide down and out so you can unplug electrical connection.
