Chosen Solution
I need a replacement SAB-001 motherboard and iFixit is out of them. Does anybody have a source for good boards, refurbished or used would be fine as long as it is working, OTHER than ebay? The few working boards there they want $150 for, and they ll seem to be the “OEM replacement” ones from Aliexpress anyway. I just need 1 to help this kid out and price here looked very apealing until I saw out of stock. This is for a SAB-001 board and BDP-015 drive. (Remember they have to go together) I’ve been looking for days calling around to get a decent deal so here is hopeing somebody has a source.
Unfortunately, Ebay is your best bet. ifixit used to have some but I don’t remember the last time they were in stock. They seem to not even carry them at all anymore. I wish I had some secret place that you could find them for cheap but unfortunately, there just isn’t anywhere out there. You might consider just buying a used console as it only costs a little more to get the entire console rather than doing all the work to replace the motherboard. Hope this helps.
