hi, so just completed a housing replacement, everything works fine apart from both volume buttons, power button, and home button. Also, no volume from speakers whatsoever and also no vibration from the mute switch. Ive made sure to go into setting and ensure that i can change volume from the buttons but still can’t seem to put my finger on it. I bought the housing online with all the components attached so all I had to do was just fit the logic board and attach the original screen. thanks in advance for any help
You’ll need to check the condition of the flexes inside the housing. I would remove the logic board and battery and closely inspect them to insure they aren’t torn or that the connectors on the end are not damaged. As da stunner suggests, the flexes that are pre-installed are usually of lower quality that original flexes. That said, it’s odd that all of them would not work which leads me to believe that they may have been damaged during your DIY repair. Thankfully, you have a nice set of genuine spares inside your original housing.
