I’ve just had a new screen put on my 12.9 iPad Pro. Since I got it back, my Smart Keyboard doesn’t work and closing the cover also doesn’t put the iPad to sleep. I’ve tried changing settings, reloading iPad and resetting it completely. No joy. The keyboard is only a few months old and worked perfectly before the screen replacement (by a 3rd party firm.) is is this a common occurrence after a screen replacement?
From the teardown guide (step 21), there’s a smart keyboard flex cable installed on iPad Pro 12.9 1st gen. iPad Pro 12.9" Teardown My guess is either the cable is not properly connected or is damaged during the repair.
