Hi, I got a serius problem with my iphone 6 Plus. After screen and battery replacement the screen became irreponsive. I can not touch any number to unlock the inital screen., they dont respond at all. It seems to be working fine but I can not access to the phone because i can not touch it. What happened? Could be touch IC on the logic board problems? The phone was working fine before the replacement. I replaced back the old screen and it does the same. The screen doesnt respond. I really appreciate any help guys.
It’s most probably Touch Disease. This was probably a latent issue and torquing the device to do the repair was probably the proverbial “straw”. If you want to know for certain, you would want to test your screens on a known-good device but this isn’t always practical for a DIY fixer. Double check the connectors on the logic board to insure you haven’t damaged them. If they are in good condition, then it’ll require a micro-soldering repair.
