I need to replace the Taptic Engine on my Apple Watch Series 3 Cellular 42mm. Do I need to buy a new force touch gasket or is it possible to reuse the existing one? Also, do I need to buy adhesive to reattach the screen or is the force touch gasket the adhesive?
You’ll likely want to get both. You can’t re-use the adhesive and in the process of opening you may damage to force touch. Why do you think you need to replace the taptic engine? Something seems off here I haven’t seen one fail yet. Did you get watch wet (back sensor or display fell off) or was the watch serviced at some point?
