Recently, I dropped my Samsung Galaxy A50 and broke the LCD screen. Since I already had some experience with screen replacement and had the tools I would need, I decided to repair the screen myself, ordering a replacement on parts4cell. During disassembly, there was a flexible part attached to the middle frame of the phone which ripped a little bit, but the rest of the repair process went smoothly and when I turned on the phone after reassembling it the screen worked and everything was functioning. 5 minutes later however, the screen went black and although I knew the phone was still on because I was receiving notifications, the screen would not work. Does anybody have an idea of how to fix this? Is it a faulty screen?
The screen may have disconnected or you might actually have a defective screen. Make sure you don’t damage the screen while taking it apart again and document the condition of the screen before returning. I myself have used parts4cells on occasion and although I haven’t had to file a warranty claim with them yet, I’ve heard they’re not the best when it comes to warranty claims from other repair shop owners.
