Hi, After replacement of HD cable iFixit IF163-041-1 Mac doesn’t turn on, battery is empty and led light from charger doesn’t light up, (I tried with 2 different chargers which work with other laptops), is it possible I damaged something during the replacement of the cable? and if so, where must I search? Thanks in advance for your help ! Olivier
Sadly, it does sound like you damaged something. Why were you replacing the cable to start with?Did you make sure the system was fully off before you started? Did you use a plastic tool to disconnect the battery? Did you have a hard time removing or putting back a part? Hopefully, your answers here could lead us to what to look at.
