My device is iphone 8 plus ios 13 , after new battery replacement the important battery message appearing, in YouTube one of the guy told that in iphone 5-8p if ios degrade to 11 or lower the message will not appear like that he told. Please suggest if doing that will help, or I should buy a jcv1s to copy and write.
Can you post a message of the error message you’re getting? If it’s a “service battery” message it usually means you used a cheap battery or one that may have a defect. If it says “Apple is unable to verify this is a genuine battery”, that may be fixed by the JCV. I’ve replaced dozens of 8 series batteries with good quality batteries from Mobile Sentrix and have never gotten that message. The devices will report max battery capacity just fine too.
