Chosen Solution
Hello everyone. Like I said in the title my macbook pro will not turn on, no light, no vibration, nothing. It went dead and sat for several days. I pluged it in and the magsafe light turned green instantly. I have tried reseting the SMC(cmd + leftshift + ctrl + powerbutton) no luck. Not really much else to try. My personal best guess is that the battery needs to be replaced, but before i buy one i would like to hear yalls opinion. -Thanks
First try this: disconnect the battery and mag-safe. Press and hold the power button for five seconds. Reconnect the battery. Then the Mag-safe. Let us know it it tries to spontaneously restart. OK, Looks like the battery may be kaput and won’t take a charge.
