Hello. Today I have changed the housing of my Iphone6, because the old one was very damaged. Everything went well till I have tried to charge it after it died. Now it shows me that is charging when i connect it, but it doesn’t charge. Any idea of what might happen ?
Check if you didn’t knocked any chips on the motherboard. Also check if you didn’t damage the charging flex, since it can be easily teared due to the hard adhesive.
The first thing you should have done was change the battery but as you says its damaged then it was good to replace but if its not charging after you put the new charging port then change the battery and that will sort your problem and if it dosnt you will have to go back and check that the charging port that you put in has gone in the exackly the way the old one came out down to the screws.
