Solved After Battery Replacement Screen Has Multi Color Lines Ipod Touch 5Th Generation

Thanks in advance for the answers. I replaced the battery on my ipod touch 5th generation and when I turned it on, I got vertical, multi color lines on the screen, which come on for a few seconds and then disappear for a few seconds. From what I can gather I damaged the screen, but I’m not sure how. Any ideas? What do I do next? Charlie

Hello, This could be an issue with the cable that connects the screen the Logic Board. To clarify, do the colored lines appear then disappear after a period of time, or are they on all the time? Also, to better assist you, could you please provide me the model number if the iPod? Thanks!!
