Recently bought an iPhone 5c that was listed as faulty. Phone powered on and worked fine just had a few minor issues such as the Bluetooth antenna and the front camera needed replacing. I made these repairs , but when I put it back together now I’m getting no powers , no charge and no iTunes either. I think I can rule out the battery as I tried a brand new battery I have in it and nothing. I noticed the indicator on the logic board was red not white which indicates water damage. But my device had been working fine prior to doing repairs. Is it possible for my device to have been working with water damage and now it’s died because of it, or is it another problem ?
I work at a phone repair company, most of the times a phone that is water damaged, when swapping components, it short circuits the phone. It shouldn’t be the battery because you said it was turning on before.
