A small portion near the bottom is not working. When i am typing i tap a letter like “r” and it would tap space. My screen isn’t cracked and this just started happening today during me zipping a folder. I tried a factory rest already. Are there any solutions?? Please help.
Hi, Have you tried using your phone in ’landscape’ mode (turn it 90 degrees) to see if the keyboard function works properly and if the problem is still in the exact same area on the screen? If it does then it indicates that there is a problem with that area of the digitizer (touchscreen) in the phone. Replacement digitizers are available online (depending on your model number). If there is still a problem, is it only happening when using a certain app or all apps that utilize the keyboard function?
