I dismounted this part (separating it from the motherboard) as the guide show, but now I need to see clearly how to connect the this part to the motherboard. Thans Update (03/14/2020) Thank you for your reply. According to your explanation I see that I may have made a big mistake while trying to remove the connector and I may have broken the connector. The cable has come loose and the base has peeled off from the motherboard. Attached photos. Can this mess be repaired? Thank you very much

Update (03/15/2020) Here’s the pictures of the logic board:

Many thanks for your help. Roberto Update (03/18/2020) To @danj. The macbook wouldn’t start so I sent it to Apple’s service, the answer was that the motherboard was damaged. And given the high cost of this repair, I decided to do it myself. And here I am learning. Although up to the hour I’ve only learned to break things. So I had already ordered a motherboard on the link you recommended (I will have it this week). I would please ask you to explain to me why I have to change the fan. I’m sending you a picture of the fan and its connector.

Many thanks

Its a simple press down connection

Update (03/15/2020) Sadly you did manage to damage the logic board as well

I’ve marked the two connector locations on a snippet of your image as well as rotated it so its aligned like my image. While you where lucky in not lifting the solder pads, you now need to find replacement connectors and I do see some other areas that need to be checked. Was this system working when you started? I would recommend you just replace the logic board as being the cheaper direction MacBook Unibody (A1342) 2.26 GHz Logic Board and you’ll also need to replace the fan assembly MacBook Pro 13" Unibody and MacBook 13" Unibody Fan That would get you back working along as you didn’t damage anything else.
