Anybody know if the bay is empty on an HP 850 G8 so that I can just drop a second SSD in? Thanks. Update (11/22/2021) I’m asking because on my boss’s G4, I found that the one bay was empty, meaning I assumed that the stock SSD was a PCIe card. According to the G8 specs, the SSD is also a PCIe card, so was wondering if there is still a bay and that it comes empty out of the box. From what you say, it sounds like that’s true and I could drop an extra SSD in there. Thanks!
No, there is only one SSD bay on this laptop.
