My Sharp TV won’t turn on..have tried the reset sequences to try to get to the service screen to reset the Backlight error. I replaced the backlights and now I have two slow blinks and 5 fast blinks. What else could be the issue? Power supply? T-con board? Main board?
@dolaugh so right now, your TV does not turn on. Correct? All you get is the blink code but it does not turn on. The 2-5 blink code can be a bad T-con board or even a panel issue. Try disconnecting the ribbon cables between the T-Con and the panel. If the TV then powers on, the panel has failed. If the TV still has the 2-5 code, I would change the T-Con board. Do you have a multimeter? Post some good pictures of all of your boards after you remove the back cover. Post those pictures with your QUESTION. Adding images to an existing question
