I am in the process of getting parts for an SSD upgrade to my 7th Gen ipod classic I am getting the tarkan board and an msata disk 1tb I have seen a ton of posts talking about confirmed compatibility with the Samsung evo 840’s and 850’s I was wondering if anybody has any knowledge of the 860 evo’s msata and if they will work or not?
The newest generation of Samsung 860 EVO mSATA SSD should work. It still uses the same Samsung controller logic (just a generational upgrade).
