I am reading here Applying Low Voltage After Every Repair (Retina MacBook 2015 Only) that one should apply a 5V charger to 2015 Macbook Retinas in order to reduce the chance of logic board damage after repairs. Should this also be done for Macbooks of this model that have the battery removed?
@rmolina I’d do it just to be on the safe side even so I am not certain why you would run it without battery. If you changed the battery you definitely want to do that. Retina MacBook 2015 Battery Replacement
