Hi Apology’s In advance as this isn’t really a repair question as it’s more of a repair related question Does any one know if there is a difference between 5 and 5.5gen boards as I have a couple of them here and some have yellow SMD components and others have orange as per photos Any answers are greatly appreciated Thanks
@hellomacos looks like an issue from manufacturing ( or manufacturer most likely) but those parts are caps as well. The difference between the 5 and the 5.5Gen is really more of a software/firmware issue and not board related. Check on here for a bit more info. To check the boards I would use the 820-XXXX number and see what each one of those shows up as.
