Will the Ifixit replacement screen and digitizer for the 5S also work for my SE?

@charrua this part will work in an iPhone SE or an iPhone 5s. The one from here states that it “will only work in an iPhone 5s. It will not work in an iPhone 5c, SE or iPhone 5. $5USD difference should be okay to order something that is guaranteed to work.

The original 5S displays will work on the SE. Aftermarket 5S will not though. Anyway you are better off using the SE screen to avoid issues with compatibility. You can use aftermarket SE screen if you want.

Kinda of..no.. So the 5SE displays are “backwards compatible” the 5SE displays will work for 5SE and 5S. However, displays manufactured prior the the 5SE, won’t work for the 5S. Basically you won’t be able to save the $10

only the original 5S displays will work on the SE phone and it it will not working with copy 5s display
