Chosen Solution

We recently got a 55" Vizio TV from family for free and the entire screen has a strong blue tint to it. The screen is blue even when not using an HDMI device - the menu and built in apps all look blue. I tried adjusting the colors in the picture settings but after turning down the blue all the way for most settings there is still a strong blue tint to the entire screen. Model number is d58u-d3

Change Picture Mode As previously said, a blue tint on your TV could be caused by incorrect picture settings. The best thing you can do is change the picture mode to adjusted. Furthermore, increasing the brightness of your TV can help eradicate the blue tint. The image is the most accurate technique to set your picture mode. You can do the same by pressing the “Menu” or “Settings” button on your remote control and selecting “picture settings” or a related option to manually adjust your TV.  Then, among other things, you can change the picture mode, brightness, and contrast. You can also try the cinema or movie theatre presets for a more realistic image. This will help you acquire authentic colors as much as possible. On TV, the dynamic Mode can be defined as lively. We recommend using the dynamic mode if you want more vibrant colors. It would be beneficial if you paused your TV on a blank screen to observe the colors in great detail. Adjust the brightness with your remote until the blue tint disappears, and you get the best colors without obscurity.Source: https://home-wired.net/how-to/vizio-tv-b
