I’m having an Acer Nitro 5 Ryzen 5 Quad Core - (8 GB/1 TB HDD/Windows 10 Home/4 GB Graphics/AMD Radeon RX 560X) AN515-43 Gaming Laptop  (15.6 inch, Obsidian Black, 2.3 kg) laptop. It shows 8 GB Ram. But I can use only 5.8 GB Ram usable. It is having AMD Radeon RX 560X 4GB graphics. But it’s primary graphics is AMD vega 8 graphics having 2 GB graphics. 2.1 GB of RAM is hardware reserved. How can I get 8 GB of RAM fully usable?

Go to the BIOS and check it , it is sharing the memory with the VGA even though it is showing dedicated VGA but if you reduce the VGA Memory it will have some performance issue like when playing games, or 3D applications

Just upgrade the RAM: https://www.windowscentral.com/how-upgra… Remember to match the pair of RAM for best results, so that means same size, same brand and same model number.

you can actually change how much of ram is hardware reserved through the bios ….however the catch is that you have to get to the “advanced” bios(not the one we get while pressing f2).the so called advanced bios can be reached by pressing a combination of keys on startup which no one knows(trust me i looked a lot)…..,another way to get to the “advanced” bios is by flahing bios from a usb which you can find the tutorial for it in youtube…i wouldnt recomend cause i personally didnt do it,nothing wrong with it(it might void your warranty tho).
