I changed my cracked screen with a replacement from ebay I got for 20 bucks aud. Everything including touch works fine except for the display. This is what I get: http://imgur.com/RL7flsu Is this more likely a faulty lcd or something I’ve done? The dimming you see in the picture is not a camera effect. Thats how it looks.
Did you take OFF the new screen protective sheet on the back of the LCD? If you installed the screen correctly and perfectly, then you need a new screen.
This can be faulty lcd or you damaged when were replacing… check the connectors. I will recommend you before replace the new lcd, test it please and connect with out removing old lcd.
