I recently changed my battery and my home button stopped working, so i reset settings THEN recheck if the cable was placed in correctly, i found out that the cable was loose then I restarted my phone. The home button is working but 3d touch on my screen is no longer there
The screen cable is somehow damaged. Very common on iPhone 7 battery replacements due to the 90 degree cable design which makes it easy to create a microscopic tear on the cable. Try another screen and see how that goes. iPhone 7 Screen Replacement
