First of all lemme say it’s a 60lm7200 not the one I had to pick from. K now, there r 3 lines the purple and blueish line r side by side and then a yellow about 6 inches to their right. I been researching and it looks like It can be a bad t-con board, but I dont want to open it up without ppl agreeing with me as it’s my only TV, and my baby lol. I bought it in dec 12’ so it’s by no way a new TV. Oh and when it first boots up it only has the blue line then in a few min the others appear. “Rappjng" on the back does nothing at all. I am hoping its nor the panel as I couldn’t afford another TV like this, t-con no problem but i want to open it up to make sure i get the right board. Thoughts?

ok. a couple of things, first, please don’t use “r” for the word “are”. it makes this difficult to read.(I may sound like a teacher but i’m just giving advice for answers more quickly) it’s most likely the LCD or backlight because the same things happen to most LCDs when they are damaged. It may be a ripped ribbon cable for the LCD but I would pay attention to the LCD first.

@ponderman T-con board errors are usually fine vertical lines or a black screen. Wider thicker multicolored lines can be an issues with the video processor on the main board. If anything at all, that is what I would start with. Not cheap so purchase from a place that has a good return policy. Once you have the back removed take some good pictures of your boards and post those with your question. That way we can see what you see. Adding images to an existing question
