I had replaced a broken screen on this a1706 MacBook a few months ago, but had damaged the wifi antennae assembly a bit, and the Touch Bar wasn’t responding. Replaced the wifi antennae last night, and tried to undo and reseat the connector for the Touch Bar. It is not powering up with battery, or without battery/but power adapter hooked up. Any ideas where to start looking. I also… didn’t disable auto boot before repairing just took the battery off.

So awesome news! I went through and disassembled everything after work. and made sure I lifted and reseated both of the USB C port/power plugs and the touchpad and everything booted up fine! Touchpad is working now also. I guess lifting it and reseating it made it start working again. I’m pretty happy!
