The screen on my 2017 MacBook Pro suddenly has vertical and flashing lines almost like its suffering from some sort of interference. I’ve tried everything to fix it and I’m just trying to get an idea of what might be wrong. It does go away depending on what angle I have the screen at. Update (04/04/2020) Here’s a picture of what my screen looks like

Ouch! I had feared that was what you where facing. The T-CON board has failed. This is located between the heat sink heat transfer radiators (in the Fn model it only has one). If you block the side & rear vents, have a lot of dust buildup or run your system hard you can cook it.

If you are lucky your system may still ben under warranty! EU has two years, If not, did you get the AppleCare+ maintenance contract? Otherwise you’ll need to do it your self, While not overly hard you do need to be careful with the ribbon cables. Sadly, the T-CON is part of the display assembly and you’ll need to replace the assembly: 13” MacBook Pro Display Assembly - Space Grey, Apple P/N 661-07970 (Grade-A)13” MacBook Pro Display Assembly - Silver, Apple P/N 661-07971 (Grade-A)
