hello, i have a 2010 imac that needs some fixing but i cant get the stand off. i have tried a palstic card but nothing has worked
Unlike the 27” model the 21.5” models stand is mounted from the inside! You’ll need to remove the logic board following this IFIXIT guide iMac Intel 21.5" EMC 2389 Logic Board Replacement unless it’s damaged somehow there is no reason to go this deep.
