So, recently I noticed that my phone would reboot after using it for over 15 minutes and when it started up again it would have a lower percentage of the battery than before. I realized if I plugged it into my charger it wiuld stop rebooting and start quicker. Initially, I blew it off as some temporary issue. However, it has been happening more and more and that is where a close friend suggested taking off my case. When I did, I noticed the screen was lifted off the phone itself to my surprise. I am confused what happened and how I can fix it. I am very worried. FYI: rose gold phone, not updated to IOS 11(because if updated, the touch screen wouldn’t work), around 6 months since I got my phone
Hello, I am sure that the battery had died. I advise you not to use your iphone. Just copy you’r data and turn of the phone. Ifixit has some good deals on replacement batteries and tools needed for repair. If you can’t/don’t want to change it yourself then go to local phone repair business and ask price for your battery and work and then decide also ask if you can buy you’r own battery(if cheaper), if expensive try fixing by you’r own.
I agree, this is a known issue with the iPhone 6 and it happened to mine. The battery is either failing or swelling. Another issue is that the charging unit it failing causing the battery to over charge or register that the battery is fully charged when only at 10%
