Chosen Solution
Ok so I had 2 DS Lites, one the hinge cracked and the top screen stopped working the second the battery corroded and the bottom screen would not turn on. So I took them both apart and tried to swap the screens and now neither will power on. when just on the power i get nothing, when i put the battery in i get the orange light and if i hit the power the green light will turn on the 5 sec later will get a white flash on the touch screen and then just the orange light
hello james, no power: check f2 and L2 fuses on the motherboard with a multimeter, about the green light and flash:it mean that u have a problem with a lcd ribbon cable (top or bottom lcd) push the ribbon cable in farther. make sure you push on both sides of it with your fingernails until it goes all the way in then latch it down sebastien
