I followed all the install photos and directions. It’s just the connection forces the wires out instead of underneath with the new thermal sensor. Just want to make sure it’s okay before closing. Any suggestions, I’m open.
After comparing the photo you attached with photos from our teardown for this device, I don’t think you’ll have any issues with that. It looks to me like the issue is caused by a different shape in the fact that you have to use an adaptor to fit a standard-sized SSD where the old big-disc hard drive went. Worst-case, I would just use some basic electrical tape to secure the wires similarly to how they were before you replaced the drive.
