Customer came in with the problem that people can’t hear him and that there is static. I tried using it and have no issues whatsoever. How do I begin to diagnose this “problem” if I can’t find one. I was thinking it might be the dock. Noise cancellation might not be working correctly and is filtering his voice. Suggestions?
It is hard to determine the fault when it happens intermittently. But since one of the signature faults on the iPhone 7 is the audio ic I would just remove it reball it run some jumpers and put it back on. You could try opening up voice memos and then flexing the phone and see if it becomes unavailable.
