Chosen Solution
Hi Gentleman I have been repairing for quite some time but my solder skills are average During removal of a charger port two solders pads came off Not sure why maybe too much heat I have researched it but it is very confusing and conflicting What is the easiest way to replace the missing tracks/pads as they are very small but need to fix them otherwise board is rubbish
@tabletrepairsoz there is really no easy fix for this. you will have to post some images of your damaged board as well as the damage itself. That way we can see what you see. Adding images to an existing question Sometimes the pad can be rebuild, other times you will have to apply jumpers to the closest component after the solder pads. If you are unsure about your abilities to solder I recommend that you send the board to someone who specializes in microsoldering.
